Setup Cause Codes
Cause Codes allow you to define standardized codes for use in the Causal Analysis module. These codes help categorize and trace the root causes of issues across your organization.
Accessing Cause Codes
- Select your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Setup.
- In the left pane, select Cause Codes.
Creating a Cause Code
- Select Create New.
- Enter a Name (required).
- Optionally enter a Value and select a Parent Cause Code.
- Select Save.
Linking a Cause Code to a Causal Analysis Entry
- Open a record in the Causal Analysis module.
- In the Data Entry menu, select Cause Codes.
- Choose a Cause Type.
- When prompted, select a relevant Cause Code from those previously created.
- Select Save to finalize.
