Setup Functional Roles
The Functional Role Manager allows you to define named roles that can be reused in workflows for routing, notifications, and approvals.
How to Configure
- Select your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Setup.
- In the left pane, select Functional Roles.
- Select Create New.
- Enter a Functional Role Name.
- Select Save.
Assign Users to a Role
- Select View on the role.
- In the Assign Users to Role section, choose a user from the dropdown.
- The selected user will be added to the role.
- Use the trash icon to remove a user if needed.
Other Actions
- Use the red trash icon on the main list to delete a role.
- Use Import and Export from the left pane to manage roles in bulk.
Functional roles can be referenced in various workflow engines and modules for task assignment and routing.
