Form Builder
Form Builder allows you to customize the layout and behavior of forms for each module. You can rename modules, group fields into sections, and control the order, visibility, and requirements for each field.
How to Configure
- Select your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Setup.
- In the left pane, select Form Builder.
- From the Modules dropdown, select a module to configure.
- (Optional) Update the Module Name and Pluralized Module Name fields.
Sections Panel (Left)
- Reorder Sections: Drag and drop sections to change display order.
- Toggle Visibility: Use the Show switch to display or hide a section.
- Set Default View: Use the Default toggle to set the default section users land on.
- Create New Section: Select Create New Section to add a custom group.
Field Editor (Middle)
When you select a section:
- Edit Section Name: Rename the selected section if needed.
- Reorder Fields: Drag fields to reorder within the section.
- Field Type: Select from predefined types (e.g., text, date, user, select, facilities).
- Field Name: Enter a label users will see.
- System Field Name: Automatically populated and not editable.
- Help Text: Optional field-level instructions (click Add Help Text).
- Required / Show Toggles: Enable if the field must be filled out or shown by default.
Save and Reuse
- Select Save to apply changes.
- Use the 3-dot menu to Export Module or Import Module to/from JSON.
