Changing Form Field Labels
Changing Form Field Labels enables organizations to match the naming conventions with existing organization processes and data structures.
- Navigate to Custom System Labels.
- Select a Module from the Modules dropdown.
- Select the Form Field Data tab.
- Navigate to the Module Field Customization section.
- There are 6 columns in this section.
- Field Name: The name defined by RegScale and how the module is referenced via API.
- Display Label: The name that is displayed in the application to users.
- Form Tab: The tab that the field is displayed.
- Data Type: Type of data that the field collects.
- Required: Indicates if the field is required.
- Visible: Indicates if the field is visible to the user.
- Type a Name in the Display Label field.
- Click Save by in the bottom-left corner of the section.
Changing Form Fields Visibility
Changing Form Field Visibility enables organizations to only display the needed information to users.
Click on the user name in the top-right corner of the application.
- Navigate to Custom System Labels.
- Select Setup from the dropdown list.
- Select Custom System Labels in the left-hand pane.
- Select a Module from the Modules dropdown.
- Select the Form Field Data tab.
- Navigate to the Module Field Customization section.
- There are 6 columns in this section.
- Field Name: The name defined by RegScale and how the module is referenced via API.
- Display Label: The name that is displayed in the application to users.
- Form Tab: The tab that the field is displayed.
- Data Type: Type of data that the field collects.
- Required: Indicates if the field is required.
- Visible: Indicates if the field is visible to the user.
- Click the checkbox in the Visual column to hide a field in the module. Note: Field visibility cannot be modified for required fields.
- Click Save by in the bottom-left corner of the section.
