# Wayfinder Builder

Wayfinder Builder allows organizations to define and manage step-by-step compliance guides tailored to their internal processes or regulatory frameworks. These templates enable structured task tracking for certifications and audits.

## Building Wayfinder Templates

1. **Create or Import a Wayfinder Template**
   * From the Builder section, select a template from the dropdown list or choose **New** to start from scratch.
   * (Optional) Upload a `.json` file to import an existing Wayfinder template.
   * Enter a title, select a status (e.g., Active), assign an owner, and provide a description.

2. **Configure the Wayfinder**
   * Add stages to reflect each phase of your compliance or certification process.
   * For each stage:
     * Add one or more activities.
     * Choose the activity type (e.g., Manual Activity).
     * Provide a description and (if applicable) add documentation links to support completion.

3. **Manage Templates**
   * View the list of existing Wayfinders, including ID, name, creator, owner, and description.
   * Select **View** to open and edit an existing template.
   * Use the **Export** option to back up or transfer a template.
   * Use the **Delete** option to remove a template no longer in use.
