# Links Subsystem

The  Links Subsystem allows users to associate external or internal URLs with a specific record. This enables quick access to related systems, documentation, or resources directly from within RegScale.

## Add a Link

1. Open a record and go to **Subsystem > Links**.
2. Click **Create New**.
3. Enter the following:
   * **Title** (required)
   * **URL** (required, must start with http, https, smb, or ftp)
   * **External ID** (optional)
   * **Other Attributes** (optional)
4. Click **Add** to save the link.

> Links will appear in a searchable list. Click a link to open it in a new tab.

## Manage Links

* **Search**: Use the search bar to find specific links by title or URL.
* **Delete**: Select one or more links and click the delete icon to remove them.
